Product Design: Smart kiosks that find empty city parking spots.

UPenn Graduate School Group Project

 

OMNI Parking Human Factors & Ergonomics

 

Project Overview:

An omni-channel parking experience where the physical parking kiosk form indicates whether spots on the street are available or taken, while a mobile app showcases wait times for parking spots in the city.

 

Key Takeaways:

  1. Took anthropometric considerations of different users into consideration, including 5th percentile males and 5th percentile females.

  2. Sketched and modeled our concepts and combined concepts into one final idea.

  3. Prototyped our concept model.
